Build Your Own Blood Panel: Pick the Tests, See the Price Next to Function Health and Superpower

The short answer

Choose the blood tests you want — or start from a preset mirroring Function Health's annual draw, Superpower's published markers, or an annual physical — and the builder totals them at Quest, Labcorp or BioReference prices next to the two membership prices. For the whole 100-marker list the memberships are cheaper per marker; for a specific handful, buying once costs a fraction. One click adds the set to your cart.

What do the preset lists cost once?

Superpower's named markers

Every marker Superpower names publicly, as the cheapest set of single tests that covers them (18 tests).

Superpower: $199.00 a year (one draw a year, results in about 10 days, AI protocol + care team included). For the whole list the membership is $394.82 cheaper — the à la carte case is picking the part of it you want.

Function Health's annual draw

Function's published annual-draw list, as the cheapest set of single tests that covers the 80 of 86 markers we sell (36 tests).

Function Health: $365.00 a year (two draws a year, clinician review included). For the whole list the membership is $861.64 cheaper — the à la carte case is picking the part of it you want.

Not offered by TestWell from Function Health's list: Antinuclear Antibodies (ANA) Pattern; Antinuclear Antibodies Titer; Omega-3: DPA; Omega-6: Arachidonic Acid; Omega-6: Linoleic Acid; Urinalysis (complete, 19 components). Superpower names only part of its 57 measured markers publicly; the preset covers the named ones.

When is a membership the better buy?

At the median price of the tests people order most ($28.99), Superpower's $199 is cheaper once you want about 7 tests a year; Function Health's $365 once you want about 7 per draw across its two draws. Below that, paying per test is cheaper and faster (most results in 1–3 business days); above it, the membership is cheaper and adds a plan and an app. Full arithmetic: Function Health vs Superpower.

Frequently asked questions

Is buying tests one at a time cheaper than Function Health or Superpower?

Only if you want a specific set. For the whole published list the memberships are cheaper per marker — Function's annual draw costs roughly three times its $365 price when bought à la carte, Superpower's named markers about three times its $199. The four tests a physical orders are $49.99 once; a heart check (lipid panel, ApoB, hs-CRP) about $91. The builder shows the crossover live.

Where do the preset lists come from?

The brand presets are the cheapest sets of TestWell single tests that cover the markers each membership publishes on its own pages (dated, linked on our comparison pages), matched with the same biomarker-name matcher we use to audit lab registrations. The other presets are everyday sets: annual physical basics, a heart check, metabolic and nutrient markers.

Which lab are the prices for?

Pick Quest, Labcorp or BioReference (New York and New Jersey) in the builder; prices update for the lab you choose. A test not drawn at your chosen lab is priced and added at the lab that offers it. Every order carries one $6 lab processing fee and includes physician authorization.

Can I add the whole set to my cart?

Yes — one click adds every selected test at the chosen lab. You can remove items in the cart, pick a draw site, and check out as a guest or with an account. Results post to your TestWell account, most within 1–3 business days of the draw.
