Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) plays a critical role in reproductive health. In women, it stimulates egg follicle development and is used to evaluate fertility, menstrual irregularities, and menopause. In men, FSH stimulates sperm production. Elevated FSH in women may indicate diminished ovarian reserve or menopause, while in men it may suggest testicular dysfunction.
