This test combines a complete urinalysis with an automatic reflex to culture. First, your urine is analyzed for physical and chemical properties (pH, protein, glucose, blood, leukocytes, etc.). If the results suggest a possible infection — such as elevated white blood cells or bacteria — the lab automatically performs a urine culture to identify the specific bacteria and test antibiotic sensitivity.
