The Galleri test is intended as a complement to, not a replacement for, standard-of-care screenings like mammography, colonoscopy, and PSA. It is recommended for adults aged 50+ or those with elevated cancer risk. In clinical studies, the test demonstrated a low false-positive rate (0.5%) and detected cancers across all stages, though sensitivity is higher for later-stage cancers.
