Not because of BCG. The QuantiFERON blood test in this panel is not affected by prior BCG vaccination, unlike the older skin test (PPD), which frequently reads falsely positive in BCG-vaccinated people. That's exactly why the blood test is the standard for immigration screening — and why it's the right choice if you've had a 'positive' skin test before.
