# Which states allow direct-access lab testing?

> Through TestWell you can order your own physician-authorized blood tests in 51 states plus Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico. In 49 of them the draw happens at Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp; New York and New Jersey route to BioReference because of state licensing rules; Rhode Island is the one state TestWell can't serve yet. Every order pays the test price plus one $6 lab processing fee.
