# TestWell vs InsideTracker

> Pick InsideTracker if you value personalized nutrition and habit recommendations layered on every result, plus the Terra AI health guide. Pick TestWell if you want a much lower entry point — single tests from $14.99 and focused panels from $79.99, vs. $489 for a first-year membership plus one Ultimate test.

Membership plus a 54-biomarker 'Ultimate' blood test, with a recommendations engine on top. InsideTracker (Segterra) now sells one product family: a membership plus its Ultimate Blood Test of up to 54 biomarkers — $489 for a new customer's first year including the annual platform fee, $340 per repeat test for members, with two- and four-test bundles discounted. The draw is at Quest; the value is the layer on top — personalized nutrition and habit recommendations, the InnerAge biological-age model, DNA and wearable integrations, and the Terra AI health guide. Individual tests are no longer sold à la carte.

## Where does TestWell win?

- A much lower entry point — single tests from $14.99 and focused panels from $79.99, vs. $489 for a first-year membership plus one Ultimate test
- Bigger catalog — ~150 individual tests and 60+ panels vs. one 54-biomarker panel
- Order single tests à la carte — InsideTracker no longer sells individual tests publicly
- Results in 1-3 business days for most tests, with no platform fee
- Choice of Quest OR Labcorp at checkout, plus New York and New Jersey via BioReference

## Where does InsideTracker win?

- Personalized nutrition and habit recommendations layered on every result, plus the Terra AI health guide
- InnerAge biological-age model and DNA / wearable integrations — a tracking product, not just a lab order
- Bundles get cheaper per draw for committed retesters (4 Ultimate tests for $1,305 including membership)
- Better-known brand in athletic and longevity communities, with peer-reviewed outcome data on its users

## When is TestWell not the right choice?

- You want a clinician consult included. A licensed physician authorizes every TestWell order, but that review is not a visit — there is no call to walk through results unless you bring them to your own provider.
- You can't get to a draw site. TestWell is venous-draw only at Quest, Labcorp and BioReference locations; we don't ship at-home finger-prick kits.
- You live in Rhode Island — we can't serve it yet. New York and New Jersey orders route to BioReference locations only, which means fewer draw sites than Quest or Labcorp offer elsewhere.
- You need insurance billed. TestWell is cash-pay; HSA/FSA cards work and every order gets an itemized receipt, but we don't file claims.
- You need a specialty assay outside our catalog (~150 tests and 60+ panels). The big marketplaces list 1,000–2,000 SKUs; we deliberately don't.

## Frequently asked questions

### Are TestWell and InsideTracker using the same labs?

When the lab partner is the same (Quest or Labcorp), the actual analysis is identical — same machines, same reference ranges, same CLIA-certified facility. The differences are price, ordering experience, and what's included.

### Can I switch from InsideTracker to TestWell mid-year?

Yes. Lab tests aren't subscriptions you have to cancel — each order stands alone. If you've already paid for a year of InsideTracker, use what you've paid for, and order any additional tests through TestWell.

### Will my doctor accept TestWell results?

Yes. Your results are CLIA-certified lab results from Quest or Labcorp — the same labs your doctor uses. You can download a PDF and bring it to any provider.
